I think they call us "transplants" down here in Florida, but I'm a New York City girl at heart.  

 

Left that rat race back in 1987 and moved to Florida to have some fun in the sun and the air and leave the winter snow behind! 

 

I finally got back in the air after  a 15 year hiatus at the end of June 2009.  Of course I love posing for pictures, so I didn't realize the plane was about to lift off!!!  Ooooops!  For the record, I did land without help from the instructor!

 

 

I'm glad I found #triviaprobe and feel so welcome here.  Thanks for the fun, laughs and oh yeah the frustration of those damn "link the word questions!"   hehe
