CloeA lovely surprise to be invited to write a profile... even more of a surprise to be writing one about me!!!!   Ok, where do I start?

I was born and raised in the bush, and reluctantly left home to see what life was all about. Was not a good student at school... all my report cards came home with the same thing... "Would do better if she stopped daydreaming out the window"..... hmmmmmmm, still thinking that one through. Spent a lot of time in detention and most detentions were writing out pages of the dictionary.... Do you know, I do not remember one word I wrote about?????? One detention was an essay on the insides of a ping-pong ball.... You couldn't stop me! They had to throw me OUT of detention, even though I hadn't finished my story!!!!

Variety of jobs: mainstay was nursing as an enrolled nurse. Found my forte was with old people.... They moved at my pace. They also had a wealth of experience, which was fun listening to, if they were in the mood to impart. Had a grand old time taking on any job that suited at the time, and traveled when I felt I was filthy rich enough. I moved around Australia as a waitress, fruit picker, pullet pullapart (or chicken gutter), part time on a film lot as caterer and wardrobe, receptionist at an electrical repair shop, typist & clerk in a tobacco firm (free smokes), and that's about all I can think of at the moment. Traveled around Australia (working holiday), and did a spot of travelling overseas as well.  Decided to terriorise my family by taking flying lessons (it took YEARS to master car driving), and obtained my private pilots license. I have let it lapse, because I think the skies are now safer without me daydreaming out the window while at the controls!

Reluctantly learnt how to work a computer, for bookkeeping purposes, and now Mal has trouble securing at least 5 minutes to do anything he wants. Was completely against us going on the Internet... could not see ANY advantage to THAT. hehehehehe (Mal is a very patient man with my addiction!)  Joined MindProbes by chance and have found a fabulous group of people who also enjoy the companionship, and instant fun. How many parties can one go to EVERY night without leaving home???????????  Keep up the wonderful work, Hosties!!!!!!!! You really are a dedicated mob, and I appreciate the work you all put into each game. (After all, I was in charge for 5 minutes at Bathurst, so I KNOW!)  Is that 400 words?? (Feels like a school essay.... and we all returned home tired but happy).
