A Profile you say.
Well,  married with children fits my profile.
 Married for 23 years cooking  restaurant cuisine every night to keep the
tribe happy.  Surprising them with chef  like talents. Until my son started
his chef pre-apprenticeship course they learned the truth I had been hiding
all this time. I was just a cook !
 Well with two beautiful  children and one gorgeous  grand daughter who
could've won any Baby Show (no bias here) I have a lot to enjoy .
After talking about it for years David and I did the sea change thing about
two and half years ago, to the  beautiful rolling hills of  Gippsland. Being
city slickers we have a lot to learn and have had some very different
experiences. From chasing one chicken for an hour when most would have left
it to the foxes. To having to cut large balls of poo of a calves tail
because it could end up with some disease the neighbour told us about. Or
having to wrestle them to the ground to give them a shot. This is ok when
they're young but no way when they grow to 350 lbs and stand as tall as my
chest.

I am a dare devil. No !. But I did have a motor bike for 18 months and I
must admit the feeling of going along at 140 k's was amazing (I'm
flying ),although 210 on the back with David was even better. But when you
keeping dropping the bike and being a small weak female that can't pick it
up without help or damaging yourself you have to reconsider. So my bike days
were sadly numbered.
I did a stint of living in the truck with David travelling around the
countryside. This is an amazingly beautiful  country, so much to see. This
has lit a desire to travel more and be able to stop and actually look at
things .Now with the young all flying the coup this may happen .

Hobbies.  I love doing tapestry, even did a few small ones while in the
truck. Now that's not easy when your bouncing around all the time. At home
I love to garden (don't have much choice here) riding the ride on lawn mower
is great fun. I will give anything ago, I have had one attempt at felting
with my alpaca wool, much to learn. I built a 2ft high dolls house that is
still to have the finishing touches put to it.

Coming back to MP has been great and I am actually starting to retain some
of the useless info  I am picking up, but frustration  creeps in when I sit
there going , "oh oh I know that" and can't get it to the surface of my mind
in time. I must admit I get a perverse pleasure when David  looks at me an
says "stop it !". I look and say "what?"  he says, "beating me". I can live with that <s>
